Who, what, why?

Hi!  I'm the mother of two dramatic little girls and wife to a slightly dramatic husband (though he'll deny it).  And I, totally undramatic ; ), am in the center of it all.  I dislike drama in my life.  Some may say that’s boring, but that doesn’t bother me.  It’s less stressful that way.  My two daughters, however, don’t seem to share this sentiment.  They express their discontent with something by having an emotional, teary, and at times loud response.  I decided to document these events here for future blackmail to help me cope and provide some entertainment for others.  Check out today’s drama, and share some of yours.  Let me know I’m not alone. Chime in anytime!

Meet Drama Queen Number 1 - Love-bug

The first night home from the hospital was stressful.  Our little love-bug cried lots and slept little.  As she grew and we got to know her, we learned that she is sweet, sensitive, thoughtful, moody, brilliant, super “girlie”, and so much more.  She’s now 6 years old, but has an old soul. At times, I forget that she is so young.  I can already see the amazing adult she will grow up to be.

Meet Drama Queen Number 2 - Sunshine
Our second daughter fooled us at first.  She seemed so calm and laid back, compared to our first.  But, as she grew (and learned from her big sis), we realized that our first daughter was only an introduction to drama.  Our little ball of sunshine was the real deal!  She's rambunctious, loud, outgoing, energetic, charming, smart, sensitive...I could go on and on.  She’s at that awesome age of 3 where she is not really a baby (except when she wants to be), but not really a big girl.  It’s a fun age!  Most of the time. : )

Our days are filled with stressful, emotional, and sometimes funny, dramatic events.  And it seems to have been that way from the very beginning of this journey called parenting.  We thank God that most of our "issues" are minor and easily resolved, which is an enormous blessing.  Our overall health and happiness keeps things in perspective when we have rough patches.  Stick around for a peek into our lives.
